Work hours: Full-Time (36 Hours), Day Shift Monday-Friday; On Call is Required

Here's What You Need
Education
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Experience
- 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - within 90 days of hire Required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
assesses the patient
plans the care of the patient
intervenes as appropriate
evaluates the effectiveness of intervention
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers

Texas Health Azle has served the tri-county area of North Texas since 1953. Our 36-bed community hospital provides care to residents in Azle, Lake Worth, Springtown, and surrounding Tarrant, Wise, and Parker county communities.
We specialize in outpatient surgery and GI endoscopy, along with comprehensive rehabilitative therapies that include physical therapy, hand therapy, lymphedema treatment, and pelvic health services. Our advanced imaging capabilities include digital mammography, CT scans, bone density, and MRI. Our emergency department serves one of the largest geographic areas in the DFW Metroplex, providing care across three counties.
Texas Health Azle holds Joint Commission accreditation for disease-specific Chest Pain care and is designated by the Texas Department of Health & Human Services as a Level IV Trauma Center and Level IV Support Stroke Facility. The American Nurses Credentialing Center recognizes us as a Pathways to Excellence® hospital for our supportive workplace environment
