What You?ll Do -Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer/tank truck -Unloads Pallet Jack -Fully analyze, cross check and confirm accuracy of paperwork with cargo before departure -Gathers necessary tools before departure -Drives long distances for customer delivery and pick up. -Reports to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road. -Monitors road conditions and watch for traffic congestion. -Follows all applicable traffic laws. -Inspects their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find. -Follows accident procedures if an accident occurs. -Keeps a log of their activities. -Reports serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel. -Maintains their vehicle and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. -Familiar with the use of technology. -Maintains good working relationships with clients. -Maintain slog of trips. -Obtains signatures upon pickup and delivery -Follow company SOP (Standard operating procedures) -Properly disposes excess material from each job. -Operates a yard truck to shuttle trailers from one building to another on a rotational basis. What You Bring -High School diploma or equivalent -Class A CDL and Tanker Endorsement -Two(2) to three (3) years of Class A Driving experience preferred -Must have excellent safety management, time management, and customer focus -Deadline-oriented and dependable -Must be able to lift 60lbs -Know, understand and abide by DOT regulations. -Must pass background check, physical and drug testing. -Lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds -Operate a tractor which pulls either a tank wagon or trailer -Operate an electric or manual hand jack which pull weight up to 4,000lbs -Operate a yard tractor Why Catania Oils? -Be part of a company that values teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement -Work in a culture that blends tradition with innovation -Make a real impact in a company that?s committed to sustainability and quality. -We offer competitive pay and benefits.
