Job Opportunity: Electrical and I&C Assembly Test Technician Location: Devens, MA Industry: Energy Sector Our client in Devens, MA, is seeking experienced Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Assembly Test Technicians to join their team, focusing on developing new energy equipment technologies. In this role, you will work under the supervision of an Assembly Testing Field Lead. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct inspections of new systems\' components and complete relevant Inspection Test Reports (ITR). -Execute Functional Test Procedures with the guidance of a Field Lead and support from a Commissioning Specialist. -Perform pre-functional testing and commissioning activities, which include: -Electrical: Hi-Pot testing, resistance testing, continuity testing; experience with voltage ranges up to 20kV is preferred. -I&C: Helium leak detection, PLC testing and troubleshooting, pin-out testing, continuity testing of connectors, wiring, and sensor testing. Qualifications: -3 to 5 years of experience in electrical and/or instrumentation roles. -An associate degree in a related field (ASEET) is preferred. -Strong knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and Ohm\'s Law. -A willingness to learn and adapt quickly to changing requirements. Physical Requirements: -Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. -Capability to perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods. -Willingness to work in an environment with industrial hazards, including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics. -Availability to travel or work occasional nights/weekends/on-call as needed.
