About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Application Engineer. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Use computer science engineering principles and software languages to design and develop complex software solutions specifically with the use of Salesforce Service Cloud
Focus on next-generation technologies that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another
Actively participate in an integrated DevOps Team utilizing Agile methodologies with strong change management focus
Perform coding, unit testing and/or system configuration changes to resolve defects and/or develop new enhancements, utilizing standard procedures and techniques
Have interest in and ability to learn new technologies and techniques. Put learning into action by modernizing applications through re-platforming, re-architecting, re-engineering, and automation
Provide daily operational support for several applications by troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and solutions, identifying and resolving problems, designing and implementing configuration changes and monitoring performance
Proactive communication and quick response to project work and production issues. Strong customer focus
Develop domain knowledge by understanding business processes
Monitor interfaces/data loads, administer security, and provide feedback/solutions on application performance
Identify areas for improvement through understanding of technical and business requirements. Partner with Application Engineers/team members to address tactical and strategic issues
Support and/or drives technical upgrade projects and change initiatives
Develop and maintains technical support documentation
Maintain IP Compliance on systems and software as appropriate
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Has in-depth knowledges and experience working on Salesforce products and functionalities (Service Cloud preferred)
Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, Flows, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, SOQL, JavaScript
Understanding of customer service center business processes and technologies preferred
Understanding of the service process (case management, knowledge management, omni-channel routing, service analytics, integration with call centers and live chat).
Must be a self-starter, can adapt to the use of new technology, able to multi-task, and able to work independently
Knowledge of security/access control, scalability, high availability, concurrency, online diagnoses, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization, production support and other SaaS enterprise software issues.
Has a keen eye for good architecture and the ability to develop new architecture and frameworks
Must have a disciplined, methodical, minimalist approach to designing and constructing layered software components that can be embedded within larger frameworks or applications
Strong communication (written/verbal) and facilitation skills with the ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience and translate business requirements into technical design.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage difficulties with persistence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II preferred)
Experience with Service and/or Sales Cloud.
Experience working on an Agile Team.
Experience packaging and deploying Salesforce solutions using Copado.
Salesforce Low Code.
Skills in Power Apps, API, Azure DevOps, Change Management are a plus.
Experience/knowledge with testing methodologies and tools.
Ability to constructively manage issues, conflicts, and problems in a prompt, direct, and objective manner.
Organized and skilled at planning. Ability to work from a high-level to a low level of detail and handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership skills, especially in leading small projects with a cross-functional team.
Familiarity with information risk management requirements and processes.
Familiarity with integration technologies and patterns (API, Messaging, Data Integration) is considered a plus.
