Job Title: Farm Technician Job Description
As a Farm Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and production of plants. This position requires a detail-oriented mindset and a strong interest in farming and plant production. You will be responsible for completing repetitive tasks with precision, following complex directions, and communicating effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
Prepare growth media and trays for planting.
Seed growth media and ensure proper setup.
Harvest crops and assist in sample analysis.
Clean growth equipment and instruments regularly.
Collect data using tools such as calipers, analytical weigh-balance, and cameras.
Collaborate with growers on complex maintenance and procedures.
Package produce for distribution.
Log task completion and perform verification and validation activities extensively.
Essential Skills
Understanding of general chemistry.
Ability to complete tasks with high precision and consistency.
Strong work ethic and exemplary communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and within a team.
Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and a can-do attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing (Excel, Word, Google Sheets).
Understanding of water quality parameters and laboratory sensors (pH, electrical conductivity).
Experience working in food-safe environments.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.

You will work in cleanrooms and a climate-controlled warehouse, ensuring optimal conditions for plant growth and production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avondale, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
