CITY OF AVON LAKE City Laborer in Avon Lake, Ohio
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks.
- Performs various daily, scheduled and emergent maintenance on city properties
- Operates small hand tools
- Clearing of brush, leaves, ice and snow as directed
- Storm water management work including ditch cleaning crew
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Basic knowledge of construction techniques and safety procedures.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
This position requires a moderate level of physical fitness. The successful candidate will be able to lift, bend, and move materials and equipment as needed.
