Nesco Resource Assistant Controller in Avon Lake, Ohio
Job title: Assistant Controller Location: Avon, OH Shift: 1 ^st^ (Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm) Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 a year based on experience Seeking an experienced accounting professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience. This role supports financial reporting, general ledger activity, and month/year-end close while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Responsibilities also include assisting with budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and providing support for AP/AR, banking, and audits. The ideal candidate has strong Excel and ERP skills---preferably with Infor SyteLine---and thrives in a detail-oriented manufacturing environment. Job requirements

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience (required)
- Experience in a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Experience with Infor SyteLine ERP highly preferred
- Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience
- Cost accounting exposure is a plus but not required
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical ability
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
