Job Description
Join our team as a Back Office Medical Assistant, where you will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician. This role involves both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. You will support clinicians and care management teams in assessing and maintaining chronic disease management, as well as examining and treating the patient population. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
Responsibilities
Perform team-based patient care under clinician supervision.
Support chronic disease management, examination, and treatment of patients.
Conduct laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
Float between different office locations as required.
Communicate effectively with patients, employees, and the public.
Assess emergencies and respond accordingly.
Required Skills
Minimum 6 month experience in a clinic or back office healthcare setting.
Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent certification prefered.
Phlebotomy experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30000.00 - $40000.00/yr.
