See details about what we do.This position is a member of our Information Resources Division.HEREand#8217;S WHAT YOUand#8217;LL BE DOINGOversee and manage multiple projects using established project management methodologies, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, status reports, and meeting documentation. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate project activities across internal and external stakeholders, including agency IT staff, program areas, Budget and Planning, and state and federal partners. Facilitate communication, ensures alignment of project objectives, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders. Lead requirements gathering and business analysis efforts, including Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Work with program areas to analyze business needs and develop documentation such as business cases, use cases, process models, and Software Requirements Specifications. Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Facilitate resolution of project barriers and ensure continuity of project progress through coordination with stakeholders and leadership. Ensure project quality and support system design and testing activities, including reviewing Software Design Documents and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm deliverables meet business and technical requirements. Coordinate project closeout activities, including production validation, final documentation, lessons learned, and evaluation of project outcomes. Support continuous improvement of project management processes and practices. Qualifications: KEY QUALIFICATIONSand#8226;Experience developing formal project management documentation, including project plans, schedules or timelines, status reports, structured task tracking or work breakdown structures, and budget or resource tracking documentation.and#8226;Experience leading structured stakeholder meetings or requirements-gathering sessions and documenting business needs, decisions, or outcomes resulting from those sessions.and#8226;Experience developing business and technical documentation to support project delivery, including business cases, software specification or use cases, and requirements documentation.REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCEA bachelorand#8217;s degree from an accredited college or university plus three years of full-time experience managing, coordinating, overseeing, and/or in conducting project management in relevant areas of project assignment. One year of additional experience may substitute for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education.A graduate degree in public administration, business administration, environmental resource management, planning, or an area relevant to the position, from an accredited college or university may substitute up to two years of the required experience.*Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous wa te treatment system, or water treatment facility.
