Schwab Banking and Move-Money Technology organization is the heart of the Core Technology Solutions group providing the said business capabilities to Schwab clients. Our mission is to empower and develop our people to provide technology solutions and thought leadership that delivers innovative and cost optimized Banking and Move Money capabilities. Schwab Banking Move-Money Technology is seeking a dynamic .Net developer with passion for technology and excellence to be part of the Move-Money team. We are responsible for transferring assets between accounts. We provide sophisticated products that help clients and advisors succeed in their business efforts.

What you are good at:

· Develop and maintain web applications using .NET or Java frameworks ensuring code quality and scalability.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

· Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices in .NET/Java environments.

· Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure application reliability and performance.

· Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

· Contribute to the architectural design and deployment of applications.

· Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in .NET/Java.

What you have

· Strong technical skills:

o Bachelors’ degree in Computer Engineering OR related degree and/or practical experience

o Proficient in web and service development skills, typically built through 5+ years of applicable experience developing in .Net Core/C# and Java

o Experience in understanding and developing using C# and Java technologies

o Experience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based web service API(s) in a transaction processing environment

o Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry and/or GCP/Azure

o Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) including designing and performance tuning

o Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) techniques

o Experience participating as a member of a scrum team in an agile environment

o Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

o Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

· Strong people skills:

o Demonstrated ability and interest in coaching and mentoring team members

o Ability to participate in collaborative application and platform architecture design sessions

o Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience
