The Graduate Assistants specific responsibilities may vary depending on the experiences, interests, and strengths of the individual hired, but will likely include:PEER SUPPORT SERVICES and TRAINING/PEER COHORT SUPPORT:Process incoming SHARE Circle requests and coordinate details between peer facilitator volunteers and faculty, staff, and student leaders who submit requests.Lead an event, project, workshop series, or social media campaign that addresses mental health, stigma, help-seeking behaviors, social connection, community-care, etc. by the end of the academic year (to be discussed).As needed, may provide administrative support or guidance for active and prospective peer SHARE Support Specialists and/or assist the SHARE Student Advisory Group with their events and initiatives.PROGRAM OUTREACH and COMMUNICATIONEngage in e-mail and in-person outreach to build relationships, nurture campus collaborations, and increase participation among students across campus in Longhorn SHARE Project activities.Track SHARE Support Specialists outreach activities and update SHAREs contact list.Assist with recruitment of the incoming cohort of SHARE Support Specialists.ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES and PROGRAM ASSESSMENTAssist with responses to emails sent to the programs general email address.Assist undergraduate intern(s) with their research project(s) and program evaluation/assessment to help identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.Administrative or event support for other Longhorn Wellness Center programs, as needed.
