UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Senior Workforce Development Engineering Advisor in AUSTIN, Texas
Curriculum and Instructional Design Design and develop hands-on engineering labs, course modules, and instructional materials for university, community college, and K-12 audiences.Work with faculty, instructional designers, and industry partners to ensure curriculum aligns with current semiconductor manufacturing and design practices.Develop and refine competency-based assessments to ensure training effectiveness.Support the creation of stackable credentials, certificates, and apprenticeship models for semiconductor career pathways.Guide students through hands-on semiconductor manufacturing and testing processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.Develop and deliver technical workshops and training modules for university students, community college learners, and K-12 outreach programs.Program Implementation and Evaluation Contribute to grant proposals, workforce development initiatives, and reports for state and federal funding opportunities.Measure and evaluate program effectiveness, adjusting training content as needed.Support scaling efforts to expand semiconductor workforce training across Texas and beyond.Other related functions as assigned.
