CBRE Senior Program Manager in Austin, Texas
(Onsite Location: Austin, Texas –expectation for 3 or 4 days a week on a client site). Travel to other clientsites domestically and globally may be required.
Provide program-level oversight for portfolio,spanning regional budget management and end-to-end delivery accountability fromfeasibility studies through closeout. Serve as the first point of triage forall asks, delegating work to local PMs while mobilizing the requiredcross-functional partners and external delivery teams (e.g., GCs andarchitects) to produce rapid feasibility studies (scope, schedule, cost) forstakeholder decision-making.
Ensure disciplined program governance andconsistent delivery practices across active projects, maintaining stakeholderalignment and providing escalation support to keep work on track and compliantwith broader program objectives.
Typical project examples include highlytechnical retrofits in engineering spaces. This role requires a hands-on RealEstate & Construction Program Manager who can lead MEP-intensive capitalprojects in a live hardware engineering R&D environment (server andmicrochip test/validation labs). Success depends on technical fluency acrosspower, cooling, controls, and lab constraints (vibration/EMI, cleanliness/ESD),paired with disciplined day-to-day field execution—phasing work around activetesting, coordinating shutdowns, managing vendors/trades, and removing blockersquickly.
The ideal candidate is strong in scope,schedule, and cost control, with tight change management and clear decisiondocumentation. They lead with safety and risk management, communicate impactsearly to prevent downtime surprises, and maintain a high bar throughcommissioning, validation, and operational handover so the facility performsreliably under real operating conditions.
What you will do:
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of projects andprograms within a PMO framework, from
initiation through delivery and closeout.
Define project and program objectives, scope,milestones, success metrics, and delivery
roadmaps aligned to Meta’s strategicpriorities.
Coordinate multiple interdependentprojects, ensuring consistent application of PMO
controls functions (cost, schedule,change, risk, and reporting).
Establish and maintain strong programgovernance, including forums, decision
pathways, escalation processes, andassurance activities.
With Project Manager/s, Own program levelfinancial management, including budget
control, forecasting, cost tracking, andvariance analysis.
With Project Manager/s, manage programrisks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring
proactive mitigation and transparentcommunication.
Produce clear, data driven reporting andanalytics to support executive decision making.
Partner with client teams and deliverypartners to manage interfaces,
responsibilities, and outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement initiativesacross the PMO team.
Lead and performance manage teams ofproject managers and supply chain partners in
project and program delivery.
Drive a culture of ownership, empowermentand accountability across teams.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred
Strong PMO and program management expertise in complex, multi-workstreamenvironments.
Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Professional certification in program or project management (e.g. MSP, PgMP, PMP,
PRINCE2, or equivalent) is desirable.

Detail oriented while maintaining a strong strategic perspective.
