Peak Performers Senior IT Procurement & Contracts Specialist in Austin, Texas

Peak Performers has partnered with a public sector organization to assist in their search for a remote IT Procurement Technician 3. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and analyzing IT procurement requirements while supporting contract management, budgeting, and compliance activities.

Major duties

● Coordinate and analyze IT procurement requirements across multiple departments and stakeholders

● Provide guidance on procurement processes, budgeting, and use of approved technology contracts

● Maintain accurate, audit-ready records for contracts, solicitations, work orders, and timesheets

● Review invoices and timesheets against contract terms to ensure accuracy and prevent overbilling

● Track project status, financials, and develop budget forecasts and projections

What are we looking for?

● Extensive knowledge of state-level procurement, contract management, and budget regulations

● Strong experience with procurement budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking

● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

● High attention to detail with a proven ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy

● Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with established procedures

Exciting Opportunity Details

● Rate: $52.50/hour

● Contract: 3 month W2 with potential for extension

● Worksite Location: Remote (within the United States)

● Full-time hours during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
