Performing or supporting senior installation staff when performing the highest level installation work.Leading junior installation staff in various, more common installation tasks.Responsible for absorbing project details for all incoming projects and generating schematic diagrams and project plans for use by the LAITS Technology Integrations group and to be viewed on delivery of completed systems by partner entities on and off campus.Understanding project timelines and generating deliverables accordingly.Ensuring that all generated documents are coordinated with the designers and programming team, verifying accuracy and coordinating document reviews prior to distribution.Uploading project documentation to project management tools and alerting the leadership team that all documents are ready for construction.Performing regular checks in the field to ensure compliance with the issued build documents and quality standards. Coordinate with senior technicians and train junior technicians on best practices during installation tasks. Coordinate with programming team to ensure any necessary field variation is congruent with the programming scheme.Redlining build documents to reflect as-built variation and perform final quality control on completed work to ensure compliance with project documents. Create final as-built document file for internal archive, the support team, and other project partners.Perform a check in after project completion to promote constant improvement.Other related functions as assigned.
