Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a SDET- Software Developer Engineer Test - Mid-Level to join their team. As a SDET- Software Developer Engineer Test - Mid-Level, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting Mobile Application Testing Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: SDET- Software Developer Engineer Test - Mid-Level

Location: Austin, TX

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for iOS and Android mobile applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute comprehensive testing strategies that uphold quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts using Appium with Java.

  • Ensure continuous automation testing, analyze results, and promptly report metrics and failures.

  • Create detailed reports with screenshots and videos to document failures and support troubleshooting efforts.

What's Needed?

  • At least 3 years of experience in mobile application development.

  • 4+ years of experience in developing and executing automated test scripts and maintaining test automation frameworks.

  • Proficiency with Appium framework using Java for mobile automation testing.

  • Hands-on experience with UI testing on XCUITest (iOS) and Espresso (Android).

  • Familiarity with cloud-based device testing platforms like Sauce Labs or Perfecto.
