Carry out research in the area of applied robotics for use in extreme environments, particularly in the nuclear, space, oil and gas industries, and/or military applications though other application areas may be considered.Support deliverables related to autonomous mobile systems, mobile manipulation, and human-machine interfaces.Support efforts to maintain or obtain research funding from federal agencies and industry.Perform other related duties as assigned.
