Conduct Pre-Admission Assessments Perform physical examinations and medical history reviews.Administer diagnostic tests such as EKGs and lab work.Document findings and update patient records.Patient Education and Communication Inform patients about their surgical procedures and post-operative care.Address patient concerns and answer questions.Provide instructions regarding pre-operative preparations.Coordinate Care Plans Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons to develop patient care plans.Communicate patient needs and special requirements to the surgical team.Ensure all pre-operative requirements are met.Maintain Patient Safety Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during pre-admission testing.Implement safety protocols and procedures.Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.Report test results and assessments to the surgical team.Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
