Description
Robert Half is looking to hire one of our top clients in your market for a Receptionist for a contract opportunity.

Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Austin, TX 78701 (Onsite)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Anticipated Duration: 3-month contract (potential to extend)
Anticipated Pay: $19/hr
Additional Details: Parking not covered
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answer and transfer calls using a multi-line phone system in a professional and timely manner
• Greet visitors and serve as the first point of contact, providing a polished and welcoming experience
• Accept deliveries, sort and distribute mail, and maintain updated phone lists
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents with discretion
• Communicate effectively with managers and clients regarding job or deadline updates
• Support additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 1 year of office services or administrative experience
• Experience in a legal, banking, or large corporate environment preferred
• Previous receptionist, switchboard, or administrative assistant experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in a professional office setting with high call volume
• Strong customer service mindset with a polished, professional demeanor
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy
