Amazon Program Manager I in Austin, Texas

Description

We're seeking a dynamic Service Transition Program Manager who will be the critical orchestrator of technology and process innovations across Worldwide Grocery Stores. In this role, you'll drive transformative changes that reshape how our global grocery services operate, turning complex challenges into seamless solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive project intake and approval processes for technology implementations

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between project managers, technical experts, and service desk leadership

  • Develop strategic improvement plans using data-driven insights and comprehensive analysis

  • Create compelling business cases that quantify potential impacts and drive strategic decision-making

  • Design and implement processes that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery

Your day will be a blend of strategic planning, collaborative problem-solving, and cross-functional engagement. You'll navigate intricate technology implementations, connect diverse teams, and translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans that drive meaningful change.

About the team

Our Worldwide Grocery Stores Service Desk Team is a collaborative, forward-thinking group dedicated to enhancing operational excellence. We're committed to creating innovative solutions that support our global grocery ecosystem, and we're looking for someone who can help us push the boundaries of what's possible.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization

  • • Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Demonstrated success in thinking strategically and executing methodically

  • Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
