You’ll work alongside a dynamic team of Process Engineers and Designers engaged in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects — cutting edge facilities pushing the boundaries of semiconductor technology. Your Key Responsibilities
Development of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs. Specification of process equipment and instrumentation for quotation and coordination with process designers for incorporation of equipment into project.
Assist with 3D facility design and equipment layouts including generation of sketches and coordination with process designers on General Arrangement drawings.
Performing fieldwork necessary to gather data, check tie-ins and provide construction support.
Coordinating with other disciplines and construction trades as necessary.
Perform calculations, create analytical models using simulation software, and create spreadsheet based engineering tools as directed.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software platform and one or more of the following: AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu and/or Navisworks.
Able to develop and work from Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), with appropriate mentorship.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Strong organizational skills for maintaining project files and information received from clients and vendors.
Strong sense of ownership, dedication and willingness to learn.
Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in a four-year (minimum) degree in an appropriately related discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
0-2 years of relevant engineering intern experience
