Lead Systems Analyst
Onsite | Austin, TX | Contract
We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Analyst with expertise in systems administration to support a long-term contract. Based in Austin, Texas, this role involves supporting cutting-edge technologies and contributing to the development of innovative solutions. Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications throughout their entire lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Utilize modern frontend frameworks, such as Angular and TypeScript, to create intuitive and efficient user interfaces.
• Implement backend solutions using Java, and design or consume robust RESTful APIs.
• Design and optimize database structures, including both relational and NoSQL systems.
• Leverage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage scalable applications.
• Deploy applications in cloud-native and serverless environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Apply event-driven architecture patterns to improve system responsiveness and scalability.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices into development workflows to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.
• Refactor monolithic applications into microservices to enhance system modularity and maintainability.
• Use observability tools such as Application Insights and Prometheus to monitor and improve application performance.
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, particularly Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong skills in Java backend development and RESTful API design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL database design.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud-native or serverless application deployment.
• Experience with AI tools in development, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code and produce clear technical documentation.
