Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Technician Lead, you will help support safe, high-quality care for patients. You will lead your team during GI and endoscopy procedures and help keep the work area safe, organized, and ready so patients get the best care possible, and to help drive continuous improvement on the unit.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing procedure rooms and equipment to ensure they are clean, stocked, and working properly for every patient’s care

  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment by following strict infection control and safety guidelines

  • Supporting providers and nurses during procedures while keeping patients comfortable, safe, and respecting their privacy

  • Training new team members by sharing knowledge of equipment and processes and setting a positive example

  • Communicating clearly with patients, families, and care teams to keep everyone informed and supported

What qualifications you will need:

  • Four years of Endoscopy Tech work experience in hospital setting- required

  • Lead Endoscopy Tech work experience in hospital setting- preferred

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • High School Graduate / GED
