Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join a dynamic, remote team supporting a suite of modern applications built on a micro front-end architecture with a Python back end. The client is looking for a mid-to-senior level engineer who can hit the ground running, contributing to API development, data pipelines, and system integrations across multiple verticals that share a common architectural foundation. This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as the candidate will participate in daily stand-ups and team ceremonies and must be able to clearly articulate technical decisions and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
Logistics
-Hours: 8am- 5pm Central
--> Must be available for stand-ups and ceremonies, typically between 9-11am and 11am-2pm CT

Skills and Requirements
-5–7+ years of hands-on back-end development experience
-Strong expertise in Python
-Experience with micro front-end architectures
-Back-end testing experience with PyTest
-Proven experience with FastAPI and Flask
-Experience integrating RESTful APIs
-Proficient with GitLab for version control
-Solid understanding of the SDLC, including Agile/Scrum
-Strong skills in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging
-Working knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, Oracle)
-Familiarity with AWS (nice to have)
-Test case management experience with qMetry (nice to have)
