Social media managementManage Healthyhorns social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X), including content creation, posting, and scheduling.Design graphics, capture and edit photos, produce videos and reels for social media, and write engaging copy to support each post.Track and report analytics each semester to guide content strategy.Coordinate messaging and campaigns with campus partners and health and well-being staff.Maintain social media calendar and request system in online project management software.Occasionally provide social media support to communication and program staff for Disability and Access, Disability Cultural Center, and Longhorn TIES.OutreachManage and respond to requests for Healthyhorns presentations and outreach events.Plan, coordinate, and attend tabling events and presentations, including pop-up opportunities.Maintain a detailed working knowledge of all services and programs within the Healthyhorns departments.Maintain and restock outreach materials.Project ManagementCollaborate closely with Longhorn Wellness Center on their design projects.Ensure materials follow brand and university style guidelines.Help manage project timelines and alert brand manager of priorities.Serve as SHAC advisor and supervise student employees/internsServe as an advisor to the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), acting as a key liaison between SHAC and Healthyhorns.Attend SHAC meetings regularly and maintain ongoing communication with the SHAC team to review and approve current projects, while also contributing additional ideas and recommendations for new initiatives.Serve as the intermediary between SHAC leadership and the UHS, CMHC, and LWC leadership teams, ensuring that feedback from departmental directors is integrated into planning and decision-making processes.Ensure that SHAC leadership adheres to organizational bylaws and financial protocols and collaborates with the finance team to monitor account statuses and track dues.Additional ResponsibilitiesAssist in writing stories about Healthyhorns events and initiatives for publication on our website and social media channels.Align communication strategies with university-wide initiatives.Attend PIT Creative Team and larger PIT Team meetings to provide updates and collaboration.Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and commitment to customer service.Maintain regular attendance and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities.Supervise student staff, possible supervision of professional staff.Participate in other projects and activities as appropriate and assigned.
