UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Facilities Control Engineer I or II, Texas Institute for Electronics in Austin, Texas
Design, install and operate PLC controllers and field instruments to include PLC programming, installation and calibration of various types of instruments for continuous operation and accurate and reliable data collection of various building utility systems.Troubleshoot control systems due to unstable operations or equipment failure and remedy the problem via equipment replacement and/or modifying PLC loop tuning parameters and/or programming to improve system performance.Use Process Flow Diagrams and PandID documents to properly design, install, and commission a variety of equipment used to operate and control building utility systems.Provide oversight of the building control systems with a focus on safety, operational reliability and security.Other related functions as assigned.
