Design and implement a comprehensive music program for students in grades Pre-K through 5, grounded in the Suzuki Method and other developmentally responsive pedagogies.Teach foundational music skills including rhythm, melody, harmony, aural training, and basic music theory through singing, movement, instruments, and ensemble playing.Provide focused string instruction with an emphasis on Suzuki methodology and individual musical growth.Plan and lead after-school music productions and performances that highlight student progress and creativity.Create a joyful, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, collaboration, and a love for music.Adapt instructional techniques to accommodate students varying skill levels, needs, and interests.Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing meaningful feedback to students and families.Collaborate with grade-level teams and other specials teachers to support integrated, cross-curricular learning.Organize and supervise rehearsals and performances with high expectations for musical excellence and performance etiquette.Recruit, coordinate, and engage students and families in music enrichment opportunities and community showcases.
