Create and maintain social media brand standards through the department's overall social strategy. Work to aid and advise social media managers throughout the athletics department on best practices and help generate account-specific social tone and voice while adhering to the overall social and digital strategy.Manage the @TexasLonghorns main accounts and other social media channels, developing compelling and engaging content focused on interaction and growth. Build an engaged audience focused on the Texas Longhorns brand and convey positivity, tradition, strength and creativity.Serve as a project manager on various projects and initiatives. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (including but not limited to Marketing, Communications, Learfield/Longhorn Sports Properties, Collegiate Licensing Company and Longhorn Network) on content plans for our social channels. Provide analysis based on data and adjust strategy based on statistical information.Provide in-person and remote social media and content support for sporting events.Develop and implement creative ideas for Texas Athletics efforts to increase brand awareness and generate revenue through sponsorship, donations and ticket sales. Innovate new concepts to further promote the Texas brand to its audience. Directly supervise full-time and student employees. Manage and schedule staff members and students for events, games and photo and video shoots to ensure adequate coverage. Communicate staffing schedule with external staff members.Report analytics on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.Facilitate the education of student-athletes, coaches and staff on social media strategy and personal branding as part of the overall NIL program. This includes leading group workshops and one-on-one evaluation sessions.Other related functions as assigned.Consistently exemplify the core values and quality service standards of Texas Athletics. Actively participate in assigned education and training programs. Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
