Programming Leadership and Strategy:Develop and implement programming strategies that align with TPAs artistic, public service, educational, and revenue goals.Maximize the productive occupancy of TPAs owned/operated venues and engage other on- or off-campus venues as needed.Provide leadership to the TPA programming team to support efficient and effective work across the organization and with external partners.Lead the programming of the Broadway in Austin series in coordination with TPAs series partner.Lead the programming of the Texas Welcomes series of national touring artists.Lead the programming of the Performing Arts Season of curated international productions, contemporary and classical performance, and new work development.Lead venue sales strategy, securing rental engagements that maximize appropriate use of TPAs facilities.Develop and maintain productive relationships with local, national, and international agents, managers, co-promoters, and peer venues. Identify and develop long-lead or innovative projects that advance TPAs programmatic and financial goals.Programming Management:Provide clear, timely, and complete programming information to TPA departments and external partners throughout all phases of the programming and presenting process, from initial event inquiry to final settlement.Advise and support the successful marketing, communications, and ticketing of programmed engagements. Monitor and manage revenue goals and inventory with TPA colleagues.Advise and support the successful event operations, guest experience, and technical production of programmed engagements. Maintain awareness of event advance processes as participate as required.Create, maintain, and update programming budgets and projections.Lead the strategic management of the venue calendars to maximize the utilization and impact of available dates. With the programming team, provide availabilities and manage holds.With the programming team, prepare and submit offers and negotiate terms. Provide booking confirmations and event information to all TPA departments. Oversee the contract, settlement, and payment processes.Develop and negotiate opportunities for artist engagement with students, members/donors, and other communities that TPA serves.Perform other related functions as assigned.
