What’s a typical day as DevOps Engineer? You’ll be:
Deploying and integrating applications and systems utilizing AWS, application servers, containers, Kubernetes, and databases.
Managing multiple projects and collaborating closely with technical leaders and project teams to meet strict deadlines and quality expectations.
Creating and maintaining scripts and automation for configuration and deployment (a highly important aspect of the role).
Setting up, configuring, and integrating environments (Test, UAT, Production) alongside architects and software engineers.
Collaborating with software developers for product customization and system configuration to satisfy customer needs.
Coordinating with IT, DBA, and other teams during system deployment.
Documenting design specifications, installation procedures, and other system-related information.
Providing system knowledge transfer and training to technical support teams.
Participating in Level 3 support for deployed solutions.
Reporting progress against deadlines as requested by management.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have at least 5 years of experience in Cloud Architecture and implementation, including Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Possess experience building and developing scalable CI/CD strategies with tools like GitLab.
Have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration (EKS).
Are skilled in analyzing and troubleshooting complex software and infrastructure issues.
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and address several topics concurrently.
Are an excellent team player with proven collaboration skills and adaptability to new technologies.
Can operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams, even in ambiguous situations.
Can clearly communicate technical information and concepts to different audiences in various formats.
Are legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer (no visa sponsorship available).
Possess U.S. Citizenship and are able to obtain post-hire CJIS, CFIUS, and DOJ clearances as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in software validation, integration, and data migrations.
Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell.
Expertise in writing and executing SQL statements.
Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Datadog.
Project management skills.
