What you Will Do: The Data Analysis and Quality Assurance (DAQA) Director: -Directs data reporting and analysis activities. -Develops and implements techniques for analyzing and reporting data in meaningful ways and remains compliant with state and federal rules and regulations. -Develops and establishes goals and objectives consistent with the agency policy and procedure. -Provides direction, guidance, and assistance in developing reports and collecting data related to contracts and procurement. -Reviews and approves reports, data collection and analysis, and ensures accuracy and that quality reports are distributed. -Reviews guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; and monitors compliance related to contract and procurement databases. -Makes recommendations to improve data collection and analysis. -Plans, develops, and approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals. -Reviews results of special investigations, internal audits, research studies, forecasts, and modeling exercises to provide direction and guidance. -Performs advanced (senior-level) managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

You Will be Trusted To: -Establish goals and objectives. -Respond to audit requests from internal and external entities. -Develop guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations. -Develop schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals. -Coordinate and evaluate data collection, reporting, and quality. -Develop and evaluate data reports and policies and procedures for producing quality reports and maintaining data integrity. -Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others. -Work under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. -Performs other duties as assigned.

You Qualify With: -Five years of full-time experience in the oversight and direction of an agency program; or in strategic planning and policy development and implementation, two years of which must have been in an administrative management or supervisory capacity. -Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.

You Are a Great Fit With: -A minimum of two years experience in data collection and analysis. -One year experience in the management and direction of staff relevant to data collection and analysis. -Experience with state data reporting and analysis.
