This role is responsible for involves providing oversight, monitoring, administration, and evaluation of batch scheduling systems, secure file transfer services, and related IT application architecture. Key duties includes administering and maintaining complex batch environments; creating, testing, and supporting automated job schedules and scripts; reviewing, monitoring, and providing technical assistance for secure file transfers and enterprise-wide critical applications; and coordinating issue resolution, troubleshooting, system maintenance, upgrades, and performance activities. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can adapt rapidly to shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Work HoursMust be able to work an eight-hour schedule between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, 40-hour week, Monday and#8211; Friday with occasional work schedule variance when necessary. Perform on-call duty on a rotational basis and occasionally work additional hours based on business peaks. Hours may change based on business need.Teleworking may be considered if certain working conditions are met. The candidate must have permanent residency within the state of Texas and must be able to meet in office requirements, which can vary among different sections (i.e. report to office 1 day/month, 3days/week, etc.). Travel reimbursements are not provided for teleworking. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:and#8226; Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelorand#8217;s degree.and#8226; Five (5) yearsand#8217; experience in Control-M scheduling and administration.and#8226; Five (5) yearsand#8217; experience in Batch Processing, batch processing, or Managed File Transfer adm nistration.and#8226; Three (3) years of experience supporting secure file systems or other managed file transfer systems.Preferred Qualifications:and#8226; Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelorand#8217;s degree in information technology, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer science, management information systems, or a related fieldand#8226; Ten (10) yearsand#8217; experience in Control-M scheduling and administration.and#8226; Five (5) yearsand#8217; experience in GlobalScape EFT, Arcus MFT, or AWS Transfer Familyand#8226; Experience in a medium to large Datacenter Data ProcessingSubstitutions:One (1) additional year of the full-time minimum experience in Batch Processing, batch processing, or Managed File Transfer administration may substitute for thirty (30) semester hours of educational requirement with a maximum substitution of 120 semester hours (four years).Licenses/Certifications (Preferred):BMC certification for Control M and Control M/Enterprise ManagerIn this role you will:Architectureand#8226; Provides technical oversight and evaluates batch scheduling systems, secure file transfer services, and related security and data operations application architecture.and#8226; Reviews, analyzes, and interprets business requirements, legislation, project proposals, statements of work, contracts, policies, and procedures to determine necessary system changes, impacts, and risks.and#8226; Evaluates network, system, and process configurations for best practices, risk-based access controls, efficiency, and effectiveness in meeting agency objectives.and#8226; Designs, modifies, and implements system interfaces, Control-M modules, enterprise file transfer workflows, and related automation processes.and#8226; Provides guidance on security roles, access levels, and controls; performs periodic security and access reviews in coordination with internal and external auditors.and#8226; Analyzes processing cycles, workflow dependencies, and job schedules to optimize batch processing and workload automation.and#8226; Advises management and business users on architectural modifications, security procedures, and system enhancements.Operationsand#8226; Monitors and maintains secure file transfer interfaces, batch scheduling systems, and enterprise automation platforms, including Control-M, GlobalScape, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and associated security protocols (GPG/PGP, SSL/TLS, SSH).and#8226; Administers and troubleshoots batch scheduling and processing jobs, including creating, modifying, and executing production, test, system, user, and housekeeping tasks.and#8226; Evaluates, tests, and implements new or updated software features, Control-M releases, and application-related functionality.and#8226; Coordinates with business teams, application support, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues, production problems, and system outages.and#8226; Provides ongoing monitoring of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and performance issues impacting batch processing and secure file transfer systems.and#8226; Distributes and balances operational workload among staff in accordance with established workflow and priorities.and#8226; Communicates production and non-production issues, outages, resolutions, and system status to stakeholders.Administrationand#8226; Maintains documentation, reports, and operational data for Control-M, secure file transfer systems, and related automation processes.and#8226; Creates and maintains batch scripts in languages such as BASH, Perl, Python, or REXX.and#8226; Manages environment security, calendar definitions, node groups, load balancing, and viewpoints within enterprise automation systems.and#8226; Provides technical training, guidance, and support to other staff and end users.and#8226; Coordinates installation, configuration, and implementation of new or updated systems, processes, or applications.Otherand#8226; Performs
