We administer a wide range of taxes and fees, maintain the integrity of state and local revenue accounting, and provide fair, transparent, and responsive tax administration. Through collaboration, dedication, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we work to deliver exceptional taxpayer service at a reasonable cost while upholding the highest standards of ethics and accountability.The Revenue Account Division is hiring for 6 (six) Accounts Examiner III positions, open across several functional areas. Each role focuses on analytical work involving taxpayer accounts, financial data, and tax processing systems.Voucher ProcessingThis role focuses on reviewing taxpayer accounts and accurately processing vouchers and refunds across multiple tax types. It involves resolving discrepancies, validating supporting documents, and completing both automated and manual transactions within established timelines.Monthly BalancingEnsures accurate monthly reconciliations by reviewing financial data, resolving exceptions, and verifying that transactions are correctly recorded in statewide systems.Location VerificationVerifies taxpayer addresses and applies correct tax jurisdictions by researching location data, reviewing automated results, and updating systems with accurate information.Sales Motor Vehicle Tax RefundsReviews and validates Sales and Motor Vehicle Tax refund and credit requests through detailed account research and documentation analysis.Operation SupportSupports core division o erations by researching taxpayer accounts, processing sales tax overpayments and permit updates, and managing essential daily workflows.Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional evening(s), weekend hours and holidays. Hours may change based on business need.
