ManpowerGroup Calibration Technician in Austin, Texas
Our client, a leader in manufacturing hardware services, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Calibration Services Department supporting the Manufacturing Hardware Services team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Calibration Technician
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $23- $36hr
Shift: 3 month training from 3a-3:30pm. Shift to be determine
What's the Job?
Perform calibrations on customer equipment both in laboratory settings and at customer sites
Adhere to Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards
Support maintenance and accreditation of calibration processes
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Provide technical interpretations of calibration results and assist in review processes
What's Needed?
In laboratory calibration experience or equivalent testing background
Associate degree in a technical discipline plus 3 years of electrical measurement experience or formal calibration training plus 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of electrical instrumentation, signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, and modular instruments
Experience with automated calibration environments such as NIs Calibration Executive or MET/CAL is preferred
Ability to travel approximately 32-36 weeks in the first year, with travel costs covered by the employer
