Strategic Media Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategy for national and regional placement of earned media that aligns with and advances University priorities and reaches highest value audiences. Identify stories with compelling people and rich visuals and pitch content to select national and state media outlets and influencers best positioned to reach desired audiences.Media Relations and Outreach: Develop relationships with key national reporters, editors, producers and bookers to facilitate UT content and expert placement.Identify earned media opportunities outside of legacy media including podcasts, events and influencers with high-value audience reach.Content Development and Expert Coordination: Identify timely opportunities for SMEs based on world events and develop SME pitches. Coordinate with the UMAC Multimedia Team and SMEs to produce content.Digital Resource Management: Manage the UT Experts webpage.
