How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead specialized technical functions, including hazardous drug compounding, nuclear, and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) activities, to ensure safe and compliant medication access and delivery.

  • Manage the full medication supply cycle, including inventory, ordering, bulk repackaging, and maintaining the operational integrity of automated dispensing systems.

  • Facilitate comprehensive patient access to necessary specialty medications by conducting benefit investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance support.

  • Serve as a critical communication liaison, providing accurate information to patients, external resources (e.g., retail pharmacies), and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Support regulatory compliance and inventory optimization, utilizing advanced technical skills to monitor standards and manage drug shortage challenges.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy intern would be acceptable in lieu of.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
