UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Admissions Student Assistant for Online Programs (open to work study and non-work study) in Austin, Texas
The primary responsibilities include reviewing individual applicant files (transcripts and resumes) to update incomplete or unclear information within their file and sorting/organizing large data sets.CDSO processes a high volume of applications (roughly 6,000 per semester) so this work requires extreme attention to detail and can be fast paced. It also handles confidential information and must adhere to FERPA and other federal regulations. The position is fully remote. Pending Graduate School approval to access to the systems storing confidential information, there will be no set hours, just deadlines to complete the work. If this access does not get approved, hours will be during normal business hours, but still set by the student.The student hired for this position will be expected to continue work through June 1st, 2026.
