Analytical and numerical modeling of the dynamic response of multiscale acoustic and elastic media.Assist co-PIs in research coordination and execution of current and future research projects. This will include holding regular meetings with peers, engineering and technical staff, graduate and undergraduate research assistants. Generate conference presentations, archival journal papers, and annual technical reports, and maintaining experimental and computational facilities at the laboratory.Development of finite element technologies that enable accurate and computationally-efficient simulations.Generate sources of funding for fundamental and applied research programs.Measurement of air- and water-borne wave phenomena and development of experimental techniques for the characterization of novel dynamic material properties.Other related functions as assigned.
