Student Advising and Support: Support outbound students during various phases of semester study abroad programs, from application to grade posting. Advise students to promote study abroad, discuss planning and prepare for study abroad programming. Assist McCombs students while abroad and upon return to UT, including prerequisite waivers for UT registration. Support incoming exchange students during orientation and academic advising.Faculty-Led Program Coordination: Coordination of a set of BBA Faculty-Led Programs. Advise and support prospective students, communicate with admitted students, support Director in communication and support with relevant faculty members, communicate with partner school and study abroad provider contacts to ensure successful planning and execution of once-a-year programs.Credit Processing: Course Evaluation/Credit Transfer: Work with various components of the course evaluation and credit transfer process, which may include coordinating the evaluation of records for courses taken abroad, UT course equivalents, and updating the records database. Support the process of grade transfers from abroad upon students return.Promotions/Student Programming: Coordinate some promotional events (ex: study abroad info sessions and semester email campaigns). Manage the recruitment of returning study abroad students and international exchange students participating in IP-wide activities (info session, fair, pre-departure workshops). Coordinate, maintain and facilitate the Buddy Program.Student Worker Supervision: Hiring, on-boarding and supervision of 2-3 student workers per semester.Other related functions as assigned.
