RESPONSIBILITIES:
Innovate: Be a key player in the sourcing function within the Procurement COE, driving complex market exercises and strategic category initiatives.
Innovate Strategic Sourcing: Partner with the sourcing function within the Procurement COE, driving complex market exercises and strategic category initiatives.
Sourcing Expert: Own a specific category to drive results.
Be a Digital Champion: Own and define the digital strategy, including Coupa CSO e-Sourcing Platform, AI and data analytics. Provide technical expertise to the One Procurement team.
Unlock Value Through Data: Use analytics and KPIs to identify opportunities, risks, optimize procurement performance, and uncover savings critical to the business.
Collaborate & Influence: Partner with Category Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and adoption of e-Sourcing best practices.
Drive Process Excellence: Continuously improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Educate & Empower: Deliver strategic training on eAuction theory and “go-to-market” best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field (Master’s or certifications like CSCP/CPSM preferred).
Experience: 2–4 years in procurement, ideally within Food & Beverage, CPG, or Manufacturing.
Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Strong Excel skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Coupa or similar RFx sourcing software (Oracle a plus)
Mindset: Adaptable, curious, and ready to challenge the status quo.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Pay Range & Benefits:
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $78,000 - $109,300 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will ,depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
