Overview

The Mixer Operator will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining dough mixing equipment to ensure the precise blending of ingredients and the production of superior-quality dough.

Job Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety standards and wear all required safety equipment;

  • Operate dough mixing equipment according to standard operating procedures and recipes;

  • Measure and weigh ingredients accurately, ensuring adherence to specified formulas;

  • Monitor the mixing process to achieve the desired dough consistency and texture;

  • Adjust mixer settings, such as mixing speed and time, to meet product specifications;

  • Conduct regular checks of dough quality, including texture, elasticity, and uniformity;

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous operation;

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment;

  • Record production data, including batch sizes, mixing times, and ingredient usage, accurately and comprehensively;

  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and ensure timely completion of production goals;

  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.

    Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in food production or a related field is a plus;

  • Previous experience operating dough mixing equipment in a commercial bakery or food manufacturing environment preferred;

  • Ability to accurately measure and weigh ingredients, with a keen attention to detail;

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues;

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, including HACCP and GMP;

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently throughout a day;

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and bend for extended periods of time;

  • Regular and predictable attendance.
