Job Title: Material Handler - Forklift Operator (2nd Shift) ($21/hr.)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced forklift operator for a 2nd shift position. The successful candidate will begin training on the 1st shift for approximately one week before transitioning to their regular schedule. Responsibilities
Operate a forklift for 70% of the workday.
Move skids of steel material between various production operations.
Transport finished skids from the final operation to the shipping department.
Load and unload raw material semi-trucks and flatbed trucks.
Safely handle and move steel materials weighing between 1,000–4,000 lbs, with occasional exposure to larger steel parts weighing 5,000–20,000 lbs.
Assist with shipping activities, including staging materials for outbound shipments.
Wrap pallets, apply labels, and manage shipping paperwork.
Review and sign off on Bills of Lading (BOLs).
Utilize a computer for basic data entry, tracking, and paperwork.
Support the shift lead as needed, especially during night shift operations.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience with tow motor/forklift operation.
Experience handling large and heavy steel materials.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to load trucks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior safety training is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Candidates will complete a tow motor/forklift skills test.
Forklift certification will be provided on site.

Work Environment
Our facility is clean, well-lit, and equipped with the latest technology. While the environment can be cold due to the large bay doors being open, we ensure a safe and comfortable workspace. Training takes place on the day shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with regular shifts running from 4:30 PM to 3:30 AM. Overtime is available on Fridays and weekends as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
