Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician Lead oversees a team of approximately 10-15 maintenance technicians, ensuring the effective operation, repair, and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and systems. This role blends technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to maintain safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support maintenance staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
Maintenance Operations: Coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
Scheduling & Planning: Organize daily work schedules, prioritize tasks, and respond to urgent repair needs.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage tools, parts, and supplies.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing systems.
Leadership and team coordination.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Time management and task prioritization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, maintenance software).
Technical degree, or equivalent technical certifications, with 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Competent in repairs of Injection Molding Machines and automation.
Knowledge of automation, material handling systems, and auxiliaries such as compressors, chillers, and electrical systems.
Able to see "Big picture" or entire process of a machine and determine trouble-shooting strategy.
Pay rate = $46/hour.
