Volt is immediately hiring for Software Engineer in Aurora, Colorado
What You Will Do:
Update software versions for COTS and FOSS software
Update software and hardware infrastructure
Develop, integrate, and test software needed to update the system
Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
What You Will Learn
A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques
Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense project
This is a Contract opportunity for 12 months.
Security Clearance- Active TS/SCI Clearance
The Ideal candidate will have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
Experience developing object-oriented software using Java
Experience with Visual Basic and Python
Experience working with Oracle databases
Experience with Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems
Experience using development tools such as Jira, Git, and Eclipse
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience upgrading complex hardware and software systems Experience upgrading COTS and FOSS software
Pay Rate:- $85 - $95/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
