Senior Project Manager: Gina Sofola & Associates, Inc. DBA Sofola & Associates, Inc.; Aurora, CO 80019. 

Responsible for coordinating all project activities related to the development of construction projects and oversee scheduling, budgeting and implementation. Confer with contractors, operations, maintenance, and other stakeholders to mitigate operational or customer impacts, as well as the overall project closeout process to ensure contract compliance. Responsible for supervising projects and cost-loaded schedules for cost and time efficiency. Collaborate with the Commissioning Agent on the commissioning process and construction activities to ensure conformance with construction documents. Responsible for reviewing and approving monthly contractor invoices and payment requests. Evaluate change order requests for legitimacy and cost reasonableness and assesses technical specifications and standards in preparation for design reviews. Assists management with the initiation, review, and negotiation of contract task orders, and supports the review and response process for RFIs and submittals. Collaborate with other contractors and city officials in the jurisdiction regarding upcoming work. Participate in design and constructability reviews, as well as coordination meetings. Provides oversight during design development and ensures a smooth transition to construction documents. Responsible for developing and contributing to project risk matrixes. This position will supervise one individual in the position of Junior Project Manager with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Requirements/Special Skills: Bachelor's degree in Regional and City Planning or Environmental Engineering or Architecture and 36 months of employment experience as Design & Planning Specialist. 36 months of employment experience must include knowledge of essential construction building systems including MEP systems, low voltage systems, and special systems. Must possess knowledge of Autodesk REVIT software. Must possess knowledge of building codes: Design Build Code, International Building Code and Accessibility Codes. Demonstrable knowledge of business and project management principles involved in strategic planning, sustainable resource allocation including LEED guidelines, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
