Job Description:
Prepare metal components by cutting, cleaning, labeling, and staging materials for welding or assembly.
Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, presses, and other industrial tools used in building conveyor systems and structural steel.
Set up machines by adjusting controls, selecting tooling, and verifying materials meet job specifications.
Monitor machine performance and identify irregularities or malfunctions.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Follow all safety protocols in a heavy‑industrial environment.
Support fabrication teams by preparing components for field installation.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must have working experience reading a tape measure.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency operating a forklift.
Accurate use of basic hand and power tools.
Prior machine operation experience is helpful but not required—training is available.

Work Environment & Schedule:
Shift: 1st or 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Overtime: Available based on workload
Environment: Heavy‑industrial fabrication shop with strict safety standards and a supportive team atmosphere

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
