Job Description
An Engineering company specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design of custom control systems for various clients within logistics, manufacturing, and air industries. Responsibilities include programming PLCs and HMIs from existing standard templates, including VFD's and graphical touchscreens. You will be working with Rockwell Software, Allen-Bradley hardware, and a small amount of AutoCAD design modification at fluctuating percentages depending on the projects at the time.
The company is well established and continually growing in a recession proof industry. The position is a 6 Month Contract to Hire (will go permanent after 6 months with room for advancement). A federal background check and drug test are required upon an offer being extended.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree heavily preferred
5+ years' experience programming PLC and HMI from concept to completion (canned logic is ok if involved as a systems integrator)
3+ years AutoCAD design experience for industrial control panels Experience designing Conveyor systems
Rockwell Automation - RS Logic 5000, RS Factory Talk View (Graphics package)
