Aerotek Automation & Electromechanical Technician in Aurora, Colorado

Seeking Electromechanical Technicians in Aurora - Direct Hire Opportunity

Pay Rate: $28-$36/hour

Schedule: First Shift, 8 AM-4:30 PM

We’re seeking an Electromechanical Technician who enjoys solving complex problems, digging into root causes, and bringing mechanical and electrical systems to life. In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with a wide range of automated and electromechanical equipment—reviewing project requirements, diagnosing issues, and driving continuous improvement. If you’re comfortable navigating PLC logic, CAD drawings, and detailed electrical schematics, you’ll feel right at home.

What You’ll Do

  • Examine incoming orders, technical documentation, and delivery schedules to keep projects on track and aligned with customer expectations.

  • Troubleshoot system faults across mechanical, electrical, and automation platforms—then carry findings through full root cause analysis.

  • Build, retrofit, and refine equipment configurations; manage and implement change orders as designs evolve.

  • Apply PLC programming knowledge, interpret CAD models, and work confidently with wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

  • Partner closely with engineering, production, and R&D to support new builds, custom solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and mechanical systems.

  • Experience working with industrial machinery, automated systems, or electromechanical assemblies.

  • Strong mechanical assembly capabilities and the ability to read and apply blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance, repairs, and system optimization in production or automation environments.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with custom machinery or packaging and automation equipment.

  • Mechanical assembly skills—if you don’t already have them, we can help you develop them.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
