Volt is hiring an Assembly / General Labor Associate

 for a leading manufacturing company in Aurora, Colorado.

As an Assembly / General Labor Associate, you will:

We are seeking a reliable Production & Assembly Associate

 to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations in a fast paced, safety focused environment. Training is provided, including forklift operation.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions
• Perform general labor and hands on assembly throughout production and warehouse areas
• Assemble, package, label, and prepare cartons per customer specifications
• Cut fiberglass insulation to size using chop units (training provided)
• Pull materials and PVC fittings from inventory and in process storage
• Verify product quantities, palletized shipments, and receiving documentation
• Inspect inbound shipments and deny receipt if requirements are not met
• Operate forklifts as needed to load, unload, stage, and transport materials
• Perform Cut & Curl assembly tasks, including roll handling, cut to length operations, quality checks, packing, labeling, and production paperwork
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; complete housekeeping duties
• Report equipment issues, defects, or production delays to supervision
• Perform additional production tasks as assigned
• Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or general labor experience preferred
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification (experience a plus)
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced production environment
• Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Manufacturing plant floor environment
• Temperatures may range from 70°F-115°F
• Exposure to fiberglass insulation during packaging tasks
• Prolonged standing on concrete floors
• Frequent bending, walking, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be physically capable of performing all essential job duties

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Overtime may be required; shift may start or end 30 minutes earlier or later

Pay Rate:

• $18-20 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
