Cognizant P&C Insurance Sales Senior Manager in Augusta, Maine
Cognizant is a leading provider of IT and BPO services, providing critical initiatives to a variety of global clients. We are seeking a seasoned senior leader to manage and scale a 100+ seat P&C licensed sales contact center. This role owns agent productivity, sales conversion, and compliance across a high‑volume Personal Lines insurance sales operation.
This is a hands‑on leadership role—not advisory—focused on delivering predictable revenue, disciplined execution, and strong agent performance.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and scale a 100+ licensed P&C sales agent operation
Drive conversion, written premium, and revenue per agent
Build a coaching‑driven sales culture through frontline managers
Own daily/weekly sales performance, forecasting, and operating cadence
Ensure full licensing, QA, and regulatory compliance
Partner with Marketing, Compliance, and Technology teams to optimize results
What Success Looks Like
Strong quote‑to‑bind conversion
High revenue per agent per day
Short ramp time for new producers
Low attrition among top performers
Clean audits without sacrificing sales velocity
Desired Skills & Experience
12+ years in insurance or regulated sales operations
8+ years leading licensed P&C sales teams
Proven experience managing 75–150 agents
Deep knowledge of Personal Lines P&C sales
Strong command of contact‑center KPIs, coaching, and compliance
Calm, decisive leader who drives results through people

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $114,500 - $134,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
